..as you can see Otters are very playful and inquisitive creatures they live in a holt on the riverbank., they need to be protected as they are an endangered species and a very rare sight in the wild these days. ...another in my ‘Riverbank’ series inspired by the book/poem Tales of the Riverbank by Alice Oswald. ...Riverfolk ...a first digital experimental creation using Otters on a surreal setting…took a photo of the sky+colour altered it fractaliused it added the Otters/fish/ripples/graphics/trees/tooka photo of a log floating by on the river added that then lighting effects&generally tweaked all round…. / Save the Otters .....

This is one of a set of x3 images that I have brought together for a challenge in the new group “The Fibonacci Sequence”, and relates to Abstract Reality and the trunk of trees. / . / The other night when I was splitting wood for the fire, I split this log to open it up and find this. / What you see is a macro of the split log. / And in the colouring, is where the sap has bled and seeped throughout the surrounding area. / The dark pieces in the bottom half, is where the sap has crystalized. / ( Jindabyne is a town located in N.S.W. ) taken with a p&s Panasonic Lumix FZ30 and is set on Manual Macro. =============
