  • Bubble Lofts
    by LjMaxx

    US$3.99–US$91.20

This is a friends loft I stay in sometimes when I visit St. Louis… I stay in the red side 2nd floor from the bottom.. .. The yellow one is the neighbors place… Each connected building stands 6 stories tall. Shot thru my window and some distorted broken bubble glass one day playing around with my close up lens.. I liked how each bubble gave a diff perspective of the buildings view. Uploaded for a Mood & Ambience group challenge Reflectiions in Metallic / / Nikon D60~ / Close up lens~ / St. Louis Mo. • A Presence
    by Nikki Trexel

    US$4.66–US$106.40

This was taken at the downtown loft where my church college group meets. On this day we were tearing down walls to make more room. If I’d taken a picture slightly to the left, you’d see mounds of insulation, drywall, wiring and 2×4s littering the room. It was a huge mess – hence the dust creating the wonderful effect near the window.

  • Loft Stairs
    by Richard Shepherd

    US$3.99–US$91.20

A set of stairs next to a copper door in an abandoned mental asylum.

  • Shafts of Light
    by Dawne Olson

    US$3.99–US$91.20

This image was taken late afternoon in the loft of our barn (badly in need of a new roof). At first I was captivated by the points of light in the semi-dark loft and tried capturing them. Then I thought to myself how much more interesting they would be if you could see the light in its path from the roof to the spot of light on the floor so I began to move the loose hay on the floor from one side of the barn to the other. (I am terribly allergic to hay.) The dust worked its magic and created a spectacular light show. Several hours later my lungs are still agonizing over the assault! / Shown here with off white mat in mocha flat frame. /

  • Inside The Barn
    by Nikki Trexel

    US$4.66–US$106.40

The same barn as in my picture The Barn. This is my first attempt at HDR imagery! All we could actually see in the loft was the bright window and a little shaft of light on the nearby wood beams. It wasn’t until after I “developed” the long exposures that I was able to see the old hay and other details. I believe this was bracketed at 5 seconds, 15 seconds and 30 seconds.

  • yes…I did. / actually? she was meowing all cute and dainty like while I photographed her. / She’s a dump off at a farm area and is now pregnant….....and she’s barely a full year old if even that. at least? I know she can take care of some of the vermin I saw the day before. UPDATE! Samantha now has a permanent home! A fellow farm ‘boy’ heard about her and even knowing she’s pregnant has asked to take her in! Even before knowing how many kittens she’ll have! The wait right now is wether to transport her while pregnant (only a few min’s drive but the stress might cause her to loose them) or to wait till her kittens are born (with worry that she might hide them and them become feral).......

    by Susan King

    US$4.66–US$106.40

Tollesbury sail lofts were built around the turn of the century to serve the local fishing fleet and probably the great J class yachts which were owned by wealthy Edwardians and skippered around the Mediterranean by men from Tollesbury.

  • Disappearing Pilchard Loft
    by Mike Honour

    US$5.82–US$133.00

Located at St Ives in Cornwall (just to the rear left of Norway Square where the wonderful wild haired Bob Devereaux performs his avante garde poetry during Festival Weeks), during a lecture tour of the 18th century Pilchard lofts which are fast disappearing. I came across the wonderful door and rusty lock with layers of peeling paint giving a brief glimpse into the history. When I returned the following year, most of the peeling paint had gone with a ravages of time and perhaps with the some help from ill advised sandpaper. This, one of my favourite pictures, and given the passage of time it therefore really captured that brief moment in time, now gone forever. It looks wonderful as either a print or a large canvas. Technical: / Fuji F11 / Hand held on auto / Macro / 6 miliion Pixels High / 2 similar images merged in layers on photoshop

  • Artist's Loft Hobbit
    by LavenderMoon

    US$3.99–US$91.20

If you look closely, you can see the antique bottles on the window sill inside the second story loft window. A perfect place to reflect and conjure the necessary thought processes that allow an artist to put their work to its best form. Any artsy fartsy hobbit would love this beautifully appointed country loft. Number forty in the Hobbit Hut series. LavenderMoon~ Surrealtor

  • Lofty Hobbit
    by LavenderMoon

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Enter through the not-so-tall basement door and take the stairs up to the vast country loft this great find has to offer. In keeping with the strange habit of too many windows in too short a stretch, this one packs four in a tight little row on the southeast side. Plenty of morning light in this cornfield gold mine. Number twenty-three in the Hobbit Hut series. LavenderMoon~

  • Loft
    by Vince Thompson

    US$4.66–US$106.40

This is a shot of a stairwell in a loft space that I helped design and build in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. Originally the building was nearly falling down, in fact the entire back wall had to be taken down and rebuilt. We kept with the historic nature of the building and left nearly all of the brick and plaster exposed as well as the roof rafters and original hardwood floors.
