I Felt that this scene realluy shows how the drought has changed the landscape of central victoria, uncovering land and boulders that had previously been underwater for many years. Hopefully it demonstrates how far the water level has resceded.

the Quandong (Santalum acuminatum) was once a common tree in our district in North Central Victoria, but are now nearly all gone. Clearing and habitat fragmentation is one reason, but some speculate that the disappearance of the Emu is another one, suspecting that the Quandongs can’t spread without its number one seed dispersal friend.
