On a Sunday drive, near Avondale, Nova Scotia, we happened upon a man loading hay bales onto the trailer he was pulling with his tractor. It was a neat shot but I wanted something a bit different so I took this. Hope you like it!
Amber Falls is a beautiful waterfall in the Buffalo River National Park in Arkansas. There is no trail to get there. My two boys and I had to hike down a very steep hill to get there, and we all ended up with poison ivy.
Leaves – Reflected in a pebbly footpath puddle on a rainy Melbourne day…..

STORMY SKIES OVER BUSSELTON WETLANDS AT SUNRISE
This photo is for the contest that denotes our current season. Best represented seasonal photo for our region is, in my opinion, people shopping in the summer heat at an open air market. Once again, I’d like to show how much people in the Midwest USA love their home grown produce. Soulard Market in St. Louis Missouri, USA.

The colours are gradually changing form the sunny golds to more autumnal shades- this is such a peaceful spot- field upon field of different colours- cows grazing-nothing for miles in this small corner of Dorset.
This is outside my backyard at the ole homestead. I coming to realize the beauty of my youth as memories fade in comparison to the real thing. *I would lose myself in this green mirage for a day as i hunted, ventured for the unknown journeying down the river or along it’s secret paths wildlife had made. The smell of pine, willows and fresh water mixed with callings of the waterfowl all greet me when i look at this picture. In the dark shadows the fauna make their sounds like the frogs I would always hear but never see. Here a cloud’s shadow envelops part of the land as a chameleon changes color. Before me a moving darkness waltzes among the willows to the music of the river and a soft wind’s notes in the pine’s branches. Looking up to the sky, my eyes closed, gentle rays caress my face. Wrinkles of age and pain fade into a young man’s dreams many many summers ago.
