This scenic pic is a combination of shots. A composite of four shots. All shots were taken in northern California with my Canon Rebel XT, EOS. My husband loves to feed the birds, and other critters along the coast line. I took shots of him feeding the birds, and I love to take shots of sunsets over the coast. The west coast sunsets are some of the best. I turned it BW and love it best in BW. He loves to stop at sunset for a break so I can shoot, early morning and sunset are my favorite times to shoot.

  • Guys this is my attempt to pick up brush and start making strokes on a canvas with different shades & tones of oil colors. While i was doing this all the time i was hearing music of silence which helped me a lot in bringing out the mood which i wanted to potray…given a touch of a honey shades all over a perfect view in a full open & bright sunny spring day in the middle of a wide range of huge mountains. / / The size is 18” x 30 on a streched canvas made with oil paints. Hope you will enjoy my honey view too.. /

  • After a summer storm, this rainbow appeared in the pasture behind our house. My daughter followed me out into the field while I took a few pictures and then we both turned to walk back in. When I glanced back at her she was still peering up into the sky at the rainbow and something about that moment really captured my heart as I became acutely aware of how transient both rainbows and childhood are.
