“Masterpiece” A simple touch of your hand, / And everything is right. / The gentle way you look at me, / When we kiss goodnight. / You’ve given me the / freedom no other love / has known / And now I thank you / thank you The countless ways you’ve / touched my heart / Is more than I can say / The beauty that you’ve shown to me / takes my breath away / A picture perfect / painting, that’s what / our love is / And yes I need you so, / and now I know ooooh / I’ve found a masterpiece in you / a work of art it’s true / And I treasure you my love / ooooh / I’ve found a masterpiece in you a work of art it’s true / And I treasure you Sometimes I wonder what I’d be / Had I not found you / A lost and lonely soul this world / could show me nothing new But now my life’s a canvas / painted with your love / And it will always be / And now I see The gentle walks together / Through time will never pass / This fairy tale we shared / is real inside our hearts / let it be forever / never let it end / this promise I can make / Heaven is ours to take When I’m lost and insecure / you build me up and make me sure / that everything will be alright / My love (This fairy tale we’re sharing / is real inside our hearts / Let it be forever / never let it end) As Recorded By: Atlantic Starr
A blue thistle.. I think it’s called sea holly. Had some fun with that : )
Watch the Video here All that I’m living for / All that I’m dying for / All that I can’t ignore alone at night I can feel the night beginning / Separate me from the living / Understanding me / After all I’ve seen / Piecing every thought together / Find the words to make me better / If I only knew how to pull myself apart All that I’m living for / All that I’m dying for / All that I can’t ignore alone at night / All that I’m wanted for / Although I wanted more / Lock the last open door / My ghosts are gaining on me I believe that dreams are sacred / Take my darkest fears and play them / Like a lullaby / Like a reason why / Like a play of my obsessions / Make me understand the lesson / So I’ll find myself / So I won’t be lost again All that I’m living for / All that I’m dying for / All that I can’t ignore alone at night / All that I’m wanted for / Although I wanted more / Lock the last open door / My ghosts are gaining on me Guess I thought I’d have to change the world / To make you see me / To be the one / I could have run forever / But how far would I have come / Without mourning your love? All that I’m living for / All that I’m dying for / All that I can’t ignore alone at night / All that I’m wanted for / Although I wanted more / Lock the last open door / My ghosts are gaining on me Should it hurt to love you? / Should I feel like I do? / Should I lock the last open door / My ghosts are gaining on me. This is an approximately 1,400 year old Live Oak tree in coastal South Carolina. It has a trunk circumference of over 24 and a half feet and its boughs cover approximately 1 acre of land. It is reportedly the oldest living thing on the eastern side of the Mississippi River in North America.
In 2005, Paul Sterling hired a chainsaw artist to do this beautiful carving on a 12-foot Pondersosa Pine stump on his property in the Big Thompson Canyon near Estes Park, Colorado. It was a wonderful sight to see while driving through the canyon…always good for a smile and an inspiration…. However, the Colorado Dept. of Transportation ended up cutting it down. ‘Officials said it had nothing to do with the message, but it might have distracted drivers and was an advertising device that did not meet safety regulations.’ The town of Estes Park turned down Sterling’s offer to donate the tree to be displayed in a public place, saying it ‘might be perceived as not supporting the troops’. The beautiful Peace Tree now rests horizontally on two stumps in front of Sterling’s home in the canyon, and it always makes me sad to see it like that…. So….to keep the spirit of the Peace Tree alive, I incorporated a photo of it into this photo of a live Ponderosa Pine in the forest…. The Peace Tree Lives! Give Peace a Chance
A Group Indians living with the gifts of Mother Earth. The elements Water, Fire, Earth and Air are so important in their old Traditions . Living by a Lake, Sunset colors a little fire and their Teepee. With their food baskets they collected herbs. There are so many story’s and legends about this so wonderful people, its always intrested me. I used old storybooks to get my inspiration to create this painting, its all based on my personal imaginations to live in Nature. I made this Oilpainting in 2000.
