Christina Rossetti’s poem which encourages respect of all forms of life goes well with this macro of a green stink bug nymph or an immature stink bug. I had a hard time identifying this bug because I mistook it for a beetle. Then, I realized that it was what is termed a true bug because its feelers have four or fewer segments. That led me to the true bug section of bug ID’s and voila: the green stink bug nymph!

The beauty of nature and living within it. / Enjoying it’s elegance in pure appreciation.
There are tons of these tiny flowers growing all over my yard.. I’m not sure what they are though. They’re about the size of my pinkie nail.
Sweet Alyssum. Colors changed in photoshop lightroom. Enjoy!
A recolored version of a spray rose bud that I did a while ago, I like this one a little better. Enjoy!
My brother, mother, and I went for a ride this morning to get as many photos as we could before our rare, rare snow melted. (The last snowfall we had was in 1988). I thought this scene was exceptionally love, the green and red trees of the usually warm Deep South Louisiana, encased in a blanket of snow. I think Mother Nature decided she’d send the world a Christmas card from Cajun country. Joyeux Noel, mes amis!
