One hard shot to get with the dancing waters. Took this without a tripod using again a technique taught in the workshop, I put camera on fence top to hold it steady, used the white balance tungsten setting, used a ISO 100, and my lens was the 18-55. I set the camera for rapid succession shots, I got several great shots. Taken March 29th 2008.
Last year, while on holiday in Denmark, and I was determined to capture the beauty of the place, I’ve kept coming back to the last 10 years. / It’s a calm place called Køge, an hour from Copenhagen. / I got up every morning at 4 to catch the sunrise, but it was always overcast and dull. / Finally, after about a week of early mornings with no great results, there was a sunrise worth watching.

Ahhhh…for a peaceful life in the Alaskan wilderness such as this beaver seems to have. In the foreground, left and right corners, are entrances to some of the many trails that these animals use to access the shoreline for fresh food and more trees.

Water is so refreshing. It is a beautiful sight to someone who is thirsty and overheated, or in need of cleansing. This such a strong image for me and the spiritual message is portrays. This is a stream which continually flows in the Derbyshire Peak District in the village of Ilam, Dovedale. For all who look upon it may it serve as a reminder for them as it does for me to come and be refreshed and renewed in God’s flow. This photo displayed is as out of the camera. No adjustments made. An experiment I did with a mirror, water, blue calligraphers ink and waxflowers….haha… it was kind of an interesting set up. Enjoy!
Have not mucked around with this with a flood filter. Taken of an offspring from the main plant growing in the water at a Lake in Ballajura. I just loved the colour of it and it’s refections in the water
Most of us think about the fairies that are visible. Water covers / most of our planet and there is a whole world that goes unexplored / by those who choose not to dive in. There are times we have / to enter the depths to find not only pain, but also the many treasures / that lie beneath the surface. One of the most delightful places is / where the water fairies live. It is enchanted place filled with / exotic flora and magical beings. This photograph reveals one / of the many places that fairies gather. They are unseen except for / their intimate relationships with the flowers and many other sentient / creatures. These spiritual fairies exist to protect the precious lives / of the creatures who do not have the defenses to detect danger, / especially humans who damage their environment. These special / fairies are able to hide in plain sight and warn their friends / of impending danger. I took a photograph titled blue boy and was / surprised to see him among the sea fairies. He has special powers and / can be viewed is on the right wearing a helmut for protection. He is one of the few human beings that are welcome in this private world and / considers the water fairies to be his most beloved friends. Please / view this piece in the larger format
Rifle Falls, Colorado. I think this must be a place where the trolls live.
