  • Mr.Roland died two days after I took that picture,he was a realy good friend and I use to tease him a lot.He was blind but always recognised me because he knew my voice«Ah!....« Gigi de St-Hippolyte»he used to say , holding my hand.He never asked for much only to organised his meal in a way he could easily eat by himself and to give him his chaplet for the ceremony on sundays.A great person , very generous and smiling all the time. The worst part for him was not being able to go to the bathroom ,I think that idea killed him ,he was so proud. He died very peacefully with her daughter and son ,hand in hand .The hand you see in the picture is his son’s .Let’s say that if I wasn’t passionnate about my job I couldn’t do it . / 2900+ views / /

  • UNTOUCHED…JUST A YELLOW FILTER ADDED. / This was takeen at Lake L’Achigan,St-Hippolyte,Quebec,Canada / I was comming back from breakfast in the village where I live when I saw this scene ,I stoped ,couldn’t beleive that I wasn’t able to see on the other side of the lake.Heavy fog and soft light gave me the opportunity to do this image,I just love it ,makes me think of an old painting. If you look carefully ,you will see the other side’s shadow. The reflection was great because there were no fog in front of me just on the other side.A very foggy sunrise it was. When I did this shot it thought about «Water world» and how our the planet is beautiful even with a little piece of land. / 7000 + VIEWS / / / /

  • Just trying new things sometimes gives something realy surprising…..experimenting is so much fun, you’ll never know what you’re gone get…. :)) / The making of that image is so simple, with Picasa I put the two pics together, one of a macro shot of bark without cropping and a portrait of my boyfriend listenning to his friends sitting at the patio table.I darked arround a little and that’s it.I didn’t have to do ajustment for the eye and the ear,it’s like the two pics were meant to fit together… :))) / 18 NOV 09 ….6,500 + VIEWS / I sold a matted print on the 29 th of november 08 to an unknown bubbler and that image was edited in the book “Gaïa the living planet” Same processing as Torn / When I did that image I thought about how menkind should be more united with the earth ,to feel renewed by the the contact of nature to become a better individuaL,TO BECOME A FREE THINKER.As long as we are trying to control the earth nothing good will come out of it,I often thought that we should be more like trees who are the lungs of our beautiful planet. / My friend C.C Arshagra wrote a wonderful poem inspired by this image,C.C realy understood what I felt when I named that piece. / That poem is called The Free Thinker would.. /

And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13. I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. 14. It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; / God’s Promise to Noah, after The Great Flood !! • This is a collaborative transatlantic entry between myself and the incredibly talented and totally awesome billyboy in Belgium for RedBubbles Gaia – The Living Planet competition. Now, I’m not a religious person, but I wanted to illustrate by using billyboys Noah’s Ark image that if we dont start taking care of this planet we are living on I truly / believe we will be in for a disaster of biblical proportions. All that is beautiful and wondrous will simply disappear… like so many ephemeral bubbles. We are all interconnected, and we must find our harmony with Gaia, or risk losing it all. Many thanks to billyboy for sharing my vision, and giving so generously of his time, blood, tears and love to bring this vision into glorious life. Concept: Rhana / Background artwork: Billyboy / Art within the bubbles: Rhana / Bubble creation: Billyboy / Design: Rhana / Title Inspiration: Billyboy For those interested in buying the totally hawt tee of this image its now available over at billyboys place. Proceeds from sales of the tee go to the STV Foundation.

  • Over seven years ago, I became increasingly aware of the Earth changes and shifts in energy. Initially I tried to ignore them or find “logical” explanations as to what was happening, but eventually I was overwhelmed by what was happening on all levels around me. / Gradually I realized that it was the Earth herself who was trying to communicate with me.. / So I was compelled to take pen and paper and go and sit quietly in nature and ask “What is it you wish to tell me?” ...and this is what she said / ....... It has taken a long time for me to do this, but what was written back in 2003 has now been published in a book together with a collection of my images, and will be available for those who wish to read the message or honour the planet that we would be nothing without. This piece of art is to celebrate the publication of the book, Message From Mother Earth From the book….. “Do not be afraid. This is powerful awareness. But it is also useful and healing too. It teaches you that we can create the world we live in, by the power of our thoughts. You are seeing that your connection with every part of your life begins and ends within yourself, within your heart, within your true thoughts. You are part of this circle of life, this very web, this intricate design of cosmic energy. You are at the heart of it and from your heart comes the power to weave your own beautiful creation. It is within you to change, to heal, to create, and to simply BE. Do not overlook the importance of this knowledge. And do not overlook the magic. For if you can communicate with the planet you stand upon, and speak together from the heart, then nothing is impossible in heaven and earth! Believe it, and it shall be so. Disbelieve, and you hold only a hand full of dirt, and some air. I am real, and so are you, and we are connected.”
