  • I originally intended this shot to be a picture of my son holding onto these balloons and taking off, floating into up into the sky … a fantasy, sotybook sort of image. However, my daughter immediately grabbed these balloons from him and started running off. So, as it turned out this eded up having a more realistic look than the one I originally intended, but I thought it turned out pretty cute with the desaturated colors throughout, except for the colorful balloons. Sold 2 laminated prints to RB Members.

  • Even at two years old, Lucy knows how to go for the kill. Of course, it doesn’t look like her little brother minds too much either. In a few years, we’re going to have to start keeping an eye on these two. At least we know they love each other.

  • This sweet flower girl portrait started with an image of my daughter and took several hours to complete. Several layers of florals and vines, in various transparencies, embossing effects and textures were added. I also did air brushing, oil brush work, and drew in all of the hair by hand.   • this is my adorable son and our dog – the two of them have such a lovely bond it is really sweet to see and i think this captured it really well, but i can see why they say working with animals and children is not always the easiest thing to do… taken with a nikon D80 + 50 mm 1.4 nikkor lens on a tripod with a flash and soft box (over the flash) ISO: 100 / f/stop: f/1.4 / shutter speed: 1/250

  • This is all about dressing up in your finest fun clothes, mum’s pearls and kimonos, fur stoles etc. She is clutching her dolly under her arm :) / Maya is a mixed media painting recently completed. She has been altered quite a lot digitally as I was not happy with the actual original painting, I’ve taken this back to give this a vintage look. My little niece Maya is so beautiful, half Indonesian as is my other niece Indiana…gorgeous children both. After I finished this, it reminded me a bit of Maya, hence the title.
