Theres a tiny village in Mid Wales called Bont Dolgadfan and this is the smallest cottage there. I used one original image and processed it in Photoshop. / Layer modes and adjustment layers were used. / Curves, levels, dodge and burn, were also utilised. / Several layers in total and a fair amount of time used. / Copyright 2007 richiedean Clickable images

We were really lucky to come across these “Little Bee Eaters” whilst on safari in Samburu National Park. Baby rhino running rings around it’s mum and dad. It was so funny; looked like a puppy running up and down the hill, over to us and back to his parents then back to us again. Neowng! ‘Asia Series’ card and prints by Karin Taylor Little Green Teapot is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper using ink, pastel, acrylic and charcoal. She is loosely inspired by green tea and the japanese tea ceremony perfomed by the beautiful Geisha in Japan. Obviously, she is in training…not yet fully fledged.

I originally intended this shot to be a picture of my son holding onto these balloons and taking off, floating into up into the sky … a fantasy, sotybook sort of image. However, my daughter immediately grabbed these balloons from him and started running off. So, as it turned out this eded up having a more realistic look than the one I originally intended, but I thought it turned out pretty cute with the desaturated colors throughout, except for the colorful balloons.

Photograph “to see a video of Israel Kamakawiwo’Ole” CLICK This is a photograph I took of my youngest daughter. When my daughters were younger, we used to tell Faery stories at bed time and take turns adding to the story. The stories were very long and often times they would be very revealing, these were happy memories for us so…….. I wanted to capture what one of those characters might have looked like, she was a Tree Faery and her hair was a birds nest, egg included.
