Shot on Le Point de Tregunc in Brittany. It was just about to get dark and getting quite spooky. The sand fleas were making the sand crawl and pop around me as I set up my tripod. This was shot at f/22 (Stuart Chapman would be proud…in fact I remember phoning him to tell him how great this place was…..). The exposure time was set on BULB for around 45 seconds. By the way….the castle is someboys house….lucky buggers! I have tried to give this a Lithographic print type of look…....

One of the last lithographs I created was this image of a crab shell. I thought it looked to blah just sitting on the cold limestone, so I added the tablecloth pattern. Felt like it was just what the lithograph needed. Then hand-colored each print with watercolors Original lithograph 7” x 11” / litho and watercolor / edition of 15 private collections throughout the U.S.
