While travelling in Romania I met a mysterious woman whose wild azure eyes burned right through my skull. She told me of a crazy party at a secret club that was on that night. / It happened once a year and was only known to a select few. I asked where it was so she drew a map on my hand and told me to meet her there at 12am. / I turned up a bit early and the club was shut, quiet as a graveyard on a winters night. / So I went back to my hotel and read a book.

there was nothing to paint… / spotted an old print of my old pic / ramon pulled out while moving / everything out of my office / so he can turn it into / a gallery for the students’ work… / ramon is everybody’s favorite teacher / who runs my art school for me. / and i painted my pic… . my art is me it’s of who i am it’s of where i’ve been / where i wish to be / and where i should not have been and of here and now it’s of what i’ve touched / and seen and felt… / and of what i hold in my hands / in my eyes / and in my heart ...and of which too far and away to touch it’s of the memories i’ve made / that i wish to keep / and of the ones i wish to forget / and it is of my dreams in making i think i can fly i love rain and this is how i illustrate my world . reference . o1.o2.2oo9 / acrylic on linen canvas / 12”x 24” .

Hi there! ☺ Yes…it´s me…..Andreas Stridsberg. Why am I opening a new account you ask? Well the answer is simple: Because i´m under contract with various publishers that demand they have “first dibs” on my work i can´t go around selling them left and right. I first have to wait for them to either accept or reject any of my new work. And because that´s usually a looooong and slooooow process i then use my other account to simply showcase my work. While on this account i can make those i know for sure my publishers have rejected available as prints to whomever may be interested.
