  • This is a reduction lino cut done with two blocks. One lays down the black and the other the orange. The white part is cut out completely so that it remains white. It takes a while to get your head around the process and it can be a hit or miss process in the printing stage. 257 Views on 2/12/09 In this edition I did 20 and this is the only one I approve of. People don’t often see the work that goes into printmaking and some treat it like a craft…but I find it the most difficult of all art mediums, not only do you have to come up with the concept and composition but you have to get your head into how you are going to do it; The processes are long but the rewards are beautiful.

  • Well alright, This is the very first linoleum block piece I have done in well over 30 years so please don’t be too hard on me:) I completed this last night as I was watching my grandson. I cannot get the quality to look the same as the original…I tried. Thanks for looking.

  • I designed and cut this lino art the last two days, and printed these hand pulled prints. These are for sale in a signed, numbered edition of 50. The hand colored prints are extra. Please contact me if interested. The image size is 5×7 inches. Thanks for looking!

  • This is a small linocut hand pulled print. I also made the small zebra border strip you see at the bottom of the print. Thanks for looking!

  • I cut this linoleum to produce this ‘inchie’ border. I am offering prints of this border in all colors. The tiny 1 inch square zebra eye drawing was done with a .005 technical pen. I am selling the border without the print, but I will sell the original inchie drawing with a border or a tiny inchie print:) The outside measurement of the border is 4×4 inches. Please contact me if you are interested in any or all:) Proceeds from the sales of cards will be donated to The Philadelphia Mission. You may view their contact info. on my front page. Thanks for looking!!

  • Hello Friends, The title just about says it all:) I cut this 4×4 inch border to border inchie drawings and am hand printing the borders in a multitude of colors. Thanks for looking:)

  • Linocut on recycled silk paper Yeah, there were an awful lot of pieces to cut out! It’s a Western Diamondback, by the way. See the T-shirt version here

  • I created these tiny “inchie” drawings and arranged them on a piece of Saunders Hot Press Watercolor Paper. The zebra border is hand printed from a linocut border that I cut. A portion from the sale of this original will be donated to The Philadelphia Mission. Please view their info. on my front page. I will sell this original, matted, with a warm white or off white mat and backing. I can also provide a frame. Thanks for looking!

  • This is a mixed media linocut print highlighted with acrylic. This was a proof so needed a little work because not enough ink on this first print. Have added it to a page of an altered book in memory of my sweet, impish cat who died in March. I miss her still though my plants are happy that she is not eating them now. • Linocut print & ink on paper

  • Linocut print, red ink, printed on Cartridge. / Traditional printmaking method. / This is a mono print. The original print was created 2006. © Gudrun Eckleben, www.geeart.com I’ve also created a bright blue version, as I couldn’t resist the super strong and vibrant primary colours! Hope you like the results too – click on the blue image to be taken to the artwork: This one is also available as a T-Shirt and might be lovely to wear on a hot Christmas day on an Australian beach:

  • A little drawing I did in between all my school work. It’s a linocut that I coloured in Photoshop. Linocuts give nice results (I love the bold lines), but they also result in some nasty cuts on my fingers haha. Plus they’re of course quite time consuming. Still enjoyed making it though. It’s about a little girl trying to feed a giraffe, but finding it very difficult due to obvious height differences. =P
