Sunset over the power lines in a deep valley. Melbourne, Australia, 2008. The gradation of colour and tone across the hills – and the subtle reflection in the foreground – really dictated this composition. The camera spoke to me – not the other way around! I do not use filters, crop or post-edit my images in any way. What you see is exactly what I shoot. This was taken with a Pentax K100D, using an 18-125mm lens. PS: Did you notice the subtle ribbon-like reflection of the sun on a roof in the foreground? Featured in MASTERS OF THE SCENIC, May 2009. Featured in A VIEW SOMEWHERE, December 2009.
