Straight out of the camera. I am not sure how I caught what looks like shadows of the cloud or even if that is what they are.
Seagulls are lined up along the waters edge as the sun sets, with a ray of sunlight highlighting the centre gull. It looks as if it’s their regular meeting place for a get-together and a chat.
” Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining” ...... Optimists see it that way. But we all know people who take the half-empty position, and they would remind us that every silver lining is surrounded by a big black cloud. An interesting view point courtesy of The Phrase Finder! /
Yesterday, I went on my first photo walk in downtown Montreal with my sister Carole . I’m still in my first year of photography, so there is a great deal of photo opportunities that are new to me. This is the Bell tower, where I used to work, back in the early 80s. It was brand new at the time, with some floors still under construction. The company was called Bell Canada back then, and it was our only telephone service provider at the time in Quebec. My mom also worked there until her retirement, some years ago. We used to get together a few times a week for lunch, and had breakfast together every morning. The sight of this building stirs up a lot of nice memories… Focal length 55mm / ISO-100 / Aperture f/9 / Shutter 1/200 sec.
