  • A young reticulated giraffe almost disappears when standing against it’s mother. Captive animals.

  • feeling a bit 80s. yes sir! /

  • I grew up in the Dakota’s in the USA and was quite used to snow…sand was not so usual here. The first time I saw snow and sand together in Norway, I was amazed! I had always thought that when there was sand, there was warmth! WRONG!

  • When I was visiting relatives in Wrexham (North Wales), I spotted a stone head on the lawn near the library. It was decorated with mosaic. As I try not to plagiarise, I decided to draw the outline of the head and then draw it as though it was built with stones, sort of dry-wall style. As of September 2009 this has been favourited 37 times and featured 4 tiems, so I guess someone out there likes it :) I am now offering this for sale as view cards. Here is the photo I used for this drawing (I took it myself so there are no copyright issues) and I ask you to consider whether I do straight copies or, as I believe, I add some of my own style to the finished picture. • Rain, rain, go away.

  • This stencil was created in early 2008 inspired by fashion photography and damp cold London. Recently cut stencil with one layer from an older stencil of a zebra in pink on her dress, with hand drawn cobbled stones. The canvas itself is 3 times in length this is just a mere snap shot of the original piece. This piece is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘snow and umbrella’ and ‘rain birds’

  • views: 4957 / favs: 22 My origami calendar A sailboat folded out of a 6×10mm piece of paper rowing along the lifeline in my palm. Wow I didn’t realize my hand had all these lines :P. I didn’t turn this into a black and white this time because I managed to get a cool light on my hand (natural light) to make it more waterlike. The flow of life is parrallel to a journey off the land. It begins smooth, then the waves of adulthood brings high tides which we must overcome, However at the end of the ride, everything is smooth again. Ironically the lifeline in my palm depicts this flow; it begins smooth, then there is a big split and begin to ruffle, but towards the end it comes back together again. This concept was originally generated and uploaded in May 2008, but I bought a tripod later on and re-shot this on September 2, 2009 using the timer on my camera (an Olympus FE-340), and replaced the image alone. Not very different from the one uploaded before except this one is clearer.
