A street photo taken at Changi Airport, Singapore. Using the natural light as backlighting, these people were quickly snapped in silhouetted as they were walking away. I’m surprised how similar these people are. They echoed each other in terms of being in a pair. Also, the pairs in the foreground are single dad with their only child. All this captured at the time 16:57.

The magical curves and lines of “The Wave Rock” in Coyote Butes Wilderness Area in Northern Arizona. Sandstone eroded into wild shapes and curves by wind and water over time.

Looking through the bus window on the way home, I see this playful movement of light and dark shades, between leaves and branches. It is a moment to be captured. Real image with no additional painting… The light painted it on my camera’s ccd sensor! I have set the camera on manual zoom, manual speed and aperture, so that the motion can be capture on shutter release. Behind the glass window of a moving bus, I hunt for the right angle of sun and the right tree, and follow throught the target like taking an image of a sport player. All about timing and a bit of luck! Love to see critiques and comments. All welcome. Found this lurking in a hard drive. Taken from the Eureka tower last year just before they banned cameras in ‘The Edge’ – a glass ‘box’ that extends out from the top floor and hangs over the city 92 floors below. This image was taken through the floor of ‘The Edge’. I adjusted the levels aggressively and burned the reflections of the people to make them stand out more. /

Last light, Meningie South Australia. A distinct lack of water in the lower reaches of the Murray – where this town jetty would normally have water around it. The stting sun lines up perfectly with this jetty each night.
