in the back street of clifton hill, this rusting monster lurks
The quite spectacular lobby of an otherwise unremarkable building in Bourke Street, Melbourne.
Cartoon Lonsdale is based upon a photo I took of Little Lonsdale Street in Feb 07. The photo went through Photoshop, no filters were used, all manually done If you would like to see more artwork in this type of style, visit: / Qv Apartments Cartoon / Car Park Vision / Tariff Motors
The 2nd of 3 Images, this one being a little busier.
Ever since arriving in Melbourne I’ve been intrigued by the weird ass lights that the town planners have put on the roads. When your coming out of the city they appear almost like UFO’s on stilts…
After a long and bone chillingly cold winter in England, there is nothing quite like the first glimpse of that extravagantly huge Kangaroo on the side of the plane that is taking you back home…..It undoes me every time :)

This stencil was created in early 2008 inspired by fashion photography and damp cold London. Recently cut stencil with one layer from an older stencil of a zebra in pink on her dress, with hand drawn cobbled stones. The canvas itself is 3 times in length this is just a mere snap shot of the original piece. This piece is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘snow and umbrella’ and ‘rain birds’
The main stencil image is one layer of the four layer stencil I created in early 2008 inspired by my interest in fashion photography. ‘Snow and Umbrella’ is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘Rain Birds’ and ‘Umbrella and Rain’.

Found this lurking in a hard drive. Taken from the Eureka tower last year just before they banned cameras in ‘The Edge’ – a glass ‘box’ that extends out from the top floor and hangs over the city 92 floors below. This image was taken through the floor of ‘The Edge’. I adjusted the levels aggressively and burned the reflections of the people to make them stand out more. /
this is a simply shot that i have produced, edited on photoshop lightroom 2.0, enjoy….. FEATURED ART PIECE / FEATURED: 27/10/2008 ANOTHER FEATURE / FEATURED: 11/11/2008 thanks to all
During last weeks trip to Melbourne I went on an evening stroll and found this line of columns and light at the front of the General Post office (GPO) in the heart of the city. The lines and shapes made for an interesting almost abstract look. The tunnel effect here puzzled me at first as there seemed to be a line working bottom right to top left as well. It was as if the bottom left of the shot separated itself from the rest of the image…...maybe it was just because I was tired by then!!!!! Now that I look at it again is it a line that works from bottom Left to the right???? Lines – lines – lines…..... Canon 400D – 17-85 lens.
Inspired directly from all the horror movies I’ve ever watched. You’re on the run from whatever it is chasing you this time. You fine a phone, run to it in hope but lo and behold, it’s disconnected. You turn to keep running, but the thing you have been running from is there, and you run right into it.. That was your last life line. Goodbye. This was taken in the underpass between Degraves Street and Flinders Street Station, Melbourne. The entire underpass is trapped in an art deco time warp. Light pink tiles on rounded walls, window box displays, metal sign work, and this in particular. Curving into a small alcove where a telephone must have once stood. Original shot, layered twice. Colour altering and fading on original, darkening on layer. Texture added from www.deviantart.com stock. Featured in Australia! You’re Standing In It / Featured in Architectural Details / Featured in Dimensions Canon 50D / 58mm, 18 – 55 / f5, 1/60, ISO 800 All editing and processing completed 11.30pm MCN: C2BXG-TS6DX-T83SH
