This is actually my third feature! But it is always nice to have your work recognized in any fashion. :-)) It is currently featured in the Flowers in Macro Group / http://www.redbubble.com/groups/flowers-in-macro This flower shot was originally an orange lily in color but I decided to flip it to b&w and ended up with a better result. Sometimes things just look better when you aren’t distracted by color and you can really appreciate their detail. It can really bring to life a photo and have you look at it in an entirely different light!

Hey guys, As you may know by looking at my portfolio i am in love with anything floral. I tend to stick to the painting and illustration side of things though more than the photography…. but i have always wanted to have a go at photographing flowers, but have never been quite brave enough!! / So today, just after a rather heavy downpour, i decided to just have a go and got a bit snap happy in my back garden. :) Anyway … I have just finished adding my newest addition to Red Bubble….. a study of an Arum Lily! This is my first time shooting flowers and this study is the outcome and i hope you like it! :) Take care KATuck (Kerry)
