Taking a break from the abandoned farmhouse, I wanted to / give a flower to someone, who’s inspired me to appreciate flowers again. And thanks. ;) / / / Be sure to check out her fantastic flower collection: here :) / / /

On a visit to the Jardin Botanique in Montreal I was captivated by the Chinese Garden. Various ponds and streams had huge floating islands of lily pads. But it was not until I rested that I discovered these two lily pads and the reflections, just over the side of the bench I was sitting on. Taken in macro mode. “Life is not merely a series of meaningless accidents or coincidences, but rather it is a tapestry of acts that culminate in an exquisite, sublime plan.” -from the movie Serendipity Avatar for Nirvana group December 2008 / Featured in the Abstracts From Nature group July 2008.

This is the second HDR image shot the other day on my girlfriend’s property.. I was inspired to try my hand at an HDR involving a dam after seeing some of the brilliant work here on the Bubble.. I think it turned out well and I liked how the image almost looks as though it is bent if you look at the tree line.. / As always comments are most welcome! Thanks a lot for looking! Under the sight of the planets, life continues on the wheel of evolution. Round and round… From the cells of this seed head, shall fall the next sacred water lily seeds that will sink into the muck far below and struggle to grow until they return to the light. This image was featured in group” The Fine Art of Photography” during the month of July to August 2008.

Last one of these, I promise! Also see Twirled and Twirled Again. (I’m real creative with names and stuff.) This time I kept seeing it as some undersea creature/plant, so I gave it a green tint.
