The footprints left behind from a craft that recently entered hyperspace. Easily tracked by someone who knows what they’re doing, for most people though, they feel safe in knowing they wont be followed. Photoshop, around 3 hours, remake of an old image, version 2 of the A3 version since the first file had a PSD error.

Using long exposure while a truck was passing

One morning I went up to the bus stop and shot all the cars and buses going to work. I kept my camera on a tripod in the same spot, and shot every car passing with a slow shutter. / When I got home I fired up Photoshop and piled all the shots on top of each other on different layers. eight of them all together. / I set all the layers blend moods to lighten, except for the one at the very bottom. This let’s only the light pass through, thus we only see the cars head and tail lights. Except for the one at the very bottom. That is the one representing the backdrop….

Look closely at this one, there’s a double take of a skateboarder doing an ollie. This version is the original – basically untouched and straight from the camera. Image taken using a 6 MP Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S500 It took a few shots before I even managed to get the skater in the photograph. You have to roll pretty fast when you ollie up to a rail like this one, so you are not in the frame for very long – just a fraction of a second. I clicked, but by the time the Flash fired the skater was out of view. So I had to take the same photo 4 or 5 times until I worked out what it sounded like as he skated towards the rail. When I heard the skateboard reach a certain distance on the right of the shot I clicked. By the time the flash fired he was just about one third of the way into the frame and I got my shot.

This is the pedestrian bridge that connects the new Col. H. Weir Cook Terminal and its new garage of Indianapolis International Airport. The new terminal is indeed a world class. Canon XSi, Manual, f/22, 6 sec exposure on the moving walkway, on tripod.
