  • Another from Australia day this year / . / . / Taking photos of Lightning and other weather phenomenon is what makes me tick. / Theres nothing that makes me more excited than a really great Storm. / Nature in all her glory, is dispalying immense power…so beautifully. / And its all for you and your camera. / Gotta love that…

  • lightning strike over bribie island 8.10.07massive winds heaps of thunder and lightning, got soaking wet so did camera i didnt care ,shot around 130 shots got about 4good ones (untouched photo)

  • Approximately 55seconds of combined multiple exposures from my balcony during recent storms in Brisbane. 5 shots all up of varying exposure length but mostly shot at about F7 and around 10seconds with the Nikon set to ISO200. I would have killed for a fisheye lens and a full frame D3 when this storm went over!

  • the first spring storm of 2007 I decided to try and get a picture of the lightning, I set my camera to rapid shot and got this bolt.

  • Went out chasing some storms and wasn’t having much luck until I drove back over where i’d just come from to find this awesome storm front. It was taken near Amberley west of Brisbane.

  • This was a scene that was quite noisy and a little scary in person. The wind was blowing this thing all over the place and i wasn’t sure where it was going next. The lightning didn’t seem that safe either. MUSIC / Garth Brooks The Thunder Rolls I couldn’t be on the internet last night because of the storm. So, I set up my equipment underneath the old apple tree in the backyard while it was raining and I capture this. I know I was taking a big risk but it pay off, I think. Truly, I can say it’s one of the first lightning photos I haven taken. It was the only one out of 11 images I took.   • My daughter was up Saturday and we decided to head to the lake, as we got to the beach, everyone was running for their cars..letting us know that the storm was coming..we thought it looked amazing so we went down to the water and watched this huge storm cloud coming in..beautiful cloud formation..lots of thunder…and wind…lightning in the distance..just nature at its best..it never rained on us, we watched it for a good 20 minutes..as we got in the van to leave the rain came down in buckets.. / Taken at Philips Park on Lake Huron between Caseville and Port Austin.. / Nikon D90 / 18-200 mm VR lens /
