  • Provence landscape around the Lac des Escarcets. Other views / /

  • Provence landscape with sunset light on the village of Saint Michel l’Observatoire.

  • An other view of my favorite lake. / Lac des Escarcets, Provence.

  • Last rays on the lake.

  • A 60 second exposure of trucks on the Highway, Massingham St (The Great Eastern Highway) looking West towards Perth. Massingham St is the main street of Kellerberrin, where I am living at the moment.

  • A macro of a bumble bee collecting nectar from one of my Sarracenia. For those who don’t know, Sarracnia are carnivorous plants so she really is living dangerously collecting her nectar here.

  • This is a photo of a dark purple (or wine red?) tulip, with added bright colors and manipulation with the “smudge” tool in Photoshop. I got the feeling of a bright light spreading from the flower’s center, which reminded me of the feeling I had once upon a time, when after a big crisis I “saw the light”, thereafter changing my surname to Orr – Light in Hebrew.

  • Taken at a Groove Armada gig, I played around with the shutter speed to get this effect.

  • On my way home from work on October 20th, 2008, I drove past this pond between Columbia and Lake Avenues in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The water was exceptionally still, the streetlights perfectly highlighted the fall colors, and the moonlit sky glowed a deep indigo blue. I nearly slammed on the brakes the moment I laid eyes on the scene. It didn’t matter what my plans were. The next thing on my schedule had just become “set up a tripod”. Every time that shutter closed I giggled with excitement.

  • This is the same eagle that I used in, ” Look Behind You” ! I used those two pictures in a double picture frame for the Fall Fair! It was one of the first to sell. I put it a rustic white frame! / Thanks for viewing!!

  • I was really taken aback one day when out for a walk with my daughter; we spied the sky at the same time. Immediately I started snapping photo’s. (She did too, she’s got her own “kid-proof” digital camera). I just loved the richness of the colors, and the only way to get a decent shot (before the moment was gone) was to shoot through trees and power lines. It’s still wonderful though, and the memories that I shared with my little one will be treasured forever!! Very little post processing work was done on this image. Just a little lighting adjustments, and a bit of cropping. Thank you for viewing my work!!! If you like what you see here, have a peek at the rest of my work. • This was one of my favourite patterns that was projected onto the MCA probably because it reminded me of the awesome paper cut art (which i saw from RedBubble ... in particular this piece of amazing artwork) There were a couple of other great projections, but unfortunately the photos turned out blurry :(

  • I wasn’t going to put any of these up as I thought they had probably been done to death! But I also have a few friends who didn’t see it and some who didn’t even know it was on! So this is just to share with them… hope you don’t mind… PS. I just love these blue balls of light… so when the opera house changed to the same colour… well couldn’t help myself really!

  • One of my favorite Cities as many of you know is Seattle. This week I had the perfect room for shooting shadows on the street. Hanging out my window, I am very close to the corner and the people walking across had these long shadows. I had a bit of fun with color and texture. I call them the “Street People” /

  • ... not just a dream for surfers … inspired/results with / done with Raytracing/Photoshop

  • Bridge over a road. Originally, quite an ugly construction, but i think it looks like a space shuttle, and especially odd, around the usual trees and stuff. / And i suppose, its pretty obvious that im craving colour lately :) canon 450d / Russia-Moscow-Zelenograd
