  • Stonehenge / Captured at Dusk on Thursday evening. / Sadly, once again, I couldn’t get close to the monuments because there was a group of Pagans who’d booked a private party viewing until 10.00pm. One day I’ll find that they’ll let me in:-) Here’s hoping. I had to take this shot from beyond a fence that is too high to just photograph over, so had to hoist the camera at arms length above my head and press the button hoping for the best. To avoid the dreaded camera shake, I had to up the ISO and sacrifice some quality. But wanted to capture the way the evening sunlight was playing on the stones. Camera: Nikon D700 with 70-300mm Lense.
