Antelope Canyon is the most-visited and most-photographed slot canyon in the American Southwest. It is located on Navajo land near Page, Arizona. Antelope Canyon formed over the course of millions of years by erosion of the Navajo Sandstone, primarily due to flash flooding and secondarily due to wind erosion. Rainwater (especially during monsoon season) runs into the wash that Antelope Canyon is part of, picking up speed and sand as it rushes through the narrow passageways. Over time the passageways are eroded away, making the corridors wider and smoothing hard edges in such a way as to form characteristic ‘flowing’ shapes in the rock. Lower Antelope Canyon, called Hasdeztwazi, or “spiral rock arches” by the Navajo, is located a few kilometers away from the upper Antelope Canyon and is a more difficult hike. I’m just posting a few pieces of my work up to see the response of redbubble members. I’ve noticed the site is for artwork, but I’m not exactly sure what direction the art is pointed to. I’m a jewelry artist. I make jewelry by fabrication and casting. This is mostly made of sterling silver, fine silver, and 14k gold all accompanied with beautiful stones of sapphire, labrodorite, and aqua marine stones in a diameter of 1 inch. The color of the stones compliment not only each other from the unique patterns of light blue to dark blue, but also with light to dark clothing in casual to professional dress codes. It’s great for any occasion. I do sell my work, just email me for details.

I took this candid photograph, of a young couple on the beach, from a convenient but discreet position up above on Brighton Pier, UK. Although it was a sunny day I did make some slight adjustments / for light and shadow. Camera used was a FujiFilm FinePix S9600 f/8 exposure 1/120 ISO 100.
Along the coastline from Brighton in Sussex, UK, is a man-made sea defence called the Undercliff Walk. For some distance there is a long stretch of Rock Pools…a favourite place for family and children to search for small marine life.
