First version of a series of renders I will make about spectral and space alien like anomalies/madness. Again, Chaoscope helped a lot but the main stuff is to actually arrange, meld and fuse things to build your own unique and bizarre surreal stuff. I might probably add a space background and turn this strange thing into a light ship.
What is this? I don’t know… Depends on how you see it or your mood. For me, it assumes the shape of a strange armoured monk staring at a chaotic space portal, thus the reason of the title. I was playing with the colours this time, trying to get strange stuff. I think I achieved that objective!
I created these 2 pieces (slightly different from one another Transcension By Devine Light ) then a title came to mind (btw~it always happens this way for me) the word TRANSCENSION, it fit it perfectly then i pulled it up on google and found this article: Answering the Fermi Paradox: Exploring the Mechanisms of Universal Transcension, © 2002-2007 by John Smart / http://www.accelerating.org/articles/answeringfermiparadox.html / This was the section that stood out to me: / In transcension, once intelligence saturates its local environment, it is constrained to leave local spacetime. It learns how to enter hyperspace, that suspected multidimensional environment hinted at in our string, supersymmetry, and M-theory, and within which cosmologists tell us new universes may be born and other yet-uncertain events may happen. In transcension, advanced intelligence inevitably moves out of our slow and computationally-restrictive spacetime, multi-locally, once it reaches a certain point in its development. The developmental singularity hypothesis is one of several possible versions of the transcension scenario, but it need not be proven correct for constrained transcension to remain the destiny of local intelligence. / In this section i read, i realized this is what i was deplicting, a transformation of this being into a higher state and leaving of this space and time. Isnt it amazing how something you create triggers you to find its meaning and a justification of why you sought out to create it? Lisa C. FRACTAL SAFETY NET / Best viewed large. / / / / FRACTAL SAFETY NET was FEATURED on / RED BUBBLE’S HOMEPAGE / on November 2, 2009. / / Fractal “Safety Net” was created out of Chaos with the Quaternion Julia Set, with use of Incendia software, based on five conditions. / / / With special effects rendered in skylight, I then proceeded to apply a little ambience, then I closed the program out and re-opened the image a second time in Photoshop. / / Lighting, luminosity, and colors were now added, along with embossing. After a few more adjustments with brightness and contrast, Fractal “Safety Net” was now complete. I do hope you like it!! / / /

You have already learned what the “Flylands Series” is about…....(there is a description in “Gate-Traveller – Flylands No1). So this one shows us a Japanese part of the bursted Earth….a lonely Geisha watches out for other survivors, she hopes the eagle might have a message for her! She carries the light which is necessary to put all the flylands together again, in order to form the entire planet new. This light is kept in the antique Japanese lantern. But at the moment, there is no way for the Geisha to leave her little flyland!..... to be continued
Here I have tried sometimes of a combination of my both passions. The work with textures and my not yet so long exercised passion Apophysis. I like above all these lights in the circles… I find texturen give to a picture quite a special charm and the work with Apophysis my imagination wakes up over and over again… Featured in / 09/2009 Digital Abstracts & Patterns Group / 10/2009 Globes, Spheres and Curves Group
