  • Caught with Viral fever and resting at home, my temptation to work on doesn’t end. Presenting one more work on light :) This one I sighted few days back when I was li’l resting in Naval Civilian Housing Colony’s rest house. As I left the room way back I thought it might be a good !dea :)) I preferred to post B&W conversion for this. Sure I’m not gonna tempt for color. I have repocessed this image to add some LIGHT :) Hope everyone will enjoy!! Reprocessed in CS3 ( 07.05.2009 ). Equipment : Canon EOS 400D, Canon EF S 10 – 22mm lens. Hand held.

  • WILD AND FREE / / Two cheetah cub brothers sitting on a termite mound. Taken early one morning about half an hour after sunrise. (Masai Mara – Kenya) / / The world’s fastest land animal, the cheetah, is a unique and the most specialized member of the cat family and can reach speeds of 70 mph. Unlike other cats, the cheetah has a leaner body, longer legs, and has been referred to as the greyhound of the cats. It is not an aggressive animal, using flight versus fight. With its weak jaws and small teeth, the price it paid for speed, it cannot fight larger predators to protect its kill or young. The cheetah was once a common animal found on five continents, but is slowly losing its race for survival and is now classed as an Endangered Species! • This is my rendition of the stairway to heaven, when we go toward the light. In my mind it is this brilliant light filled with the colors of the rainbow. The dove of peace or the Holy Spirit would be waiting to show me the way and to take away any fear. I am not afraid of dying, in fact, I think that it will be the positive experience to far out weigh any positive experience that I have ever had, other than my birth. Thanks for viewing and don’t be afraid to add your own comments and ideas of “Going Toward The Light” Origonal background stair image taken at Barr Falls, Prospect, Oregon In Photoshop, I created the light rays and then the rainbow effect, the dove was added as a composite

  • This is MANY photos, layers, and textures deep. so much so I could not understand why my iMac was being slow towards the end well turns out the raw unmerged file is well over a GIG. I think this is my biggest yet. / Thank you for looking! This actually started out to be a DARK Image but nothing would really work out. Once I completed it I showed my brother. He and I are very close and he said have you noticed that you are no longer in the dark at the bottom of your art? You are now in the light and right in the center and moving higher with each piece? / WOW what an impact that had on me! My earlier art was dark and basically I was putting myself in Hell in most of my work But I think I worked through so much with my art that time and gaining some self worth has moved me upwards and I have allowed myself to leave the self made cage/hell and go into the light and really LIVE. / Thank you Joey for helping me along the way. I would never have made it without your Love.

  • I have the misting fog irrigation system at the Australian National Botanic Gardens to thank for this one … I was in the rainforest gully section when the mist jets came on further up the gully and rolled its fog toward me … the way it played with the late afternoon sunlight made me gasp. No textures added here … though it is a 3-frame HDR to try and capture the stairs which were almost in complete darkness. The scene reminded me of a dream I had … still does. Do you dream in colour? I do.
