Done entirely on Photoshop, I’ve always wanted to try my hand at creating an Arora Borealis effect. And since Arora was a girl’s name, I had to jump on the idea of incoorperating a female figure into the picture. Can you see her?

Looks better on dark colours i think :) The original was a pastel drawing that was edited in Photoshop, using the magic wand tool on a low setting and deleting the darkest areas. The original can be seen here

I admire the way the Europeans emphasize the importance of women in their medieval history, placing them in positions of power and importance in many statues.
