  • The main stencil image is one layer of the four layer stencil I created in early 2008 inspired by my interest in fashion photography. ‘Snow and Umbrella’ is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘Rain Birds’ and ‘Umbrella and Rain’.

  • Sorry about the pun, ‘revamped!’ I’ve put a filter on my watercolour painting, to increase the moonlight atmosphere

  • We all spend a part of each day, just waiting for something…a phone call…a bus to come…the traffic to move…the kettle to boil…a holiday…a pay rise…love…happiness…success…a file to upload. / Perhaps you’ve been waiting your whole life for something to happen? / Or maybe it’s just about to…any minute now.

  • Late afternoon on a snowy day, County Derry, N. Ireland. Taken with a Canon EOS 50, Fuji Reala iso 100, +2 exposure compensation. Scanned, resized then post processed with levels and curves and a hint of usm. The day I took this photo, a snowy fog came down, and I lost all sense of directions. I wandered about for ages, very cold, and getting really scared.

  • Featured in Sets of Two February 23, 2009. / Featured in Dimensions February 16, 2009. There’s a golf course not far from where we live. I’ve been stopping by lately to see if anybody interesting is floating around in the little pond. Not much luck, so far, but the evening winter light hits this little shed, which I’ve laughingly dubbed The Caddy Shack, so nicely. Image taken on February 4, 2009 with the Nikon D40x, using the 18-200mm VR Nikon lens and the cp filter. The camera was on shutter priority at 1/400 shutter, aperture at f/5.3, exposure bias at .33 and the iso was on 400. Yes, the Canada Goose off to the left was added from a shot taken on a previous visit. So he was, technically there, just in a different time. Looking very closely, you’ll see two more hunkered down, also on the spit of land, to his immediate right … as well there are geese to the immediate left of the shack. These guys were really there in the moment I snapped the shutter on this shot. Oh, I’m getting confused again!!! Companion Piece / Caddy Shack On Ice

  • A flight to Denver Colorado, a 5 hour drive to Togwotee Mountain Pass, USA at an altitude of 9767ft made for some spectacular scenary, but also made for the worst altitude sickness EVER. One by one our party fell ill, only I remained standing. I went out on Christmas Day, took various shots including this one from the car, I also took a video diary of the trip for everyone in bed. I should really dig it out as I remember they wern’t happy with my jolly commentary. Only after I got stuck in the snow did I begin to feel exceptionally ill. The trip was immediately cut short. I missed out on the Devils Tower Wyoming and Mount Rushmore. Dammit. Greeting Cards / Framed Print / Canon 10D, 70-200mm at 135mm, f/9.5, 1/90 sec, ISO 200. No filters used and mounted on the car door. A small amount of dust and scratches removed in photoshop.
