  • The woks exhibited represent the linkup of two artists, a photographer and a sculptor. Such an attempt to blend two spheres of art is really innovative and a bit unexpected. There had been few who were successful in such an attempt. Both authors, blending their art by the means of the photo art, are the winners. Sculpture, as such, is rather a static art, sometimes “performing” in a specific, sometimes artificial, environment. However, the means of the plastic photography, seemingly, make the sculptures movable, dynamic; they make you feel the sculptures are moving. They become alive, start moving and react both to the environment and the views captured by the photographer. I would like the viewers also note the colour solutions of the photos, aimed at the strengthening of the overall impression of the imagery. The original blend and overlapping of two arts let see the impressive plastic metaphors, giving birth to various associations. /

  • This is a photo of a water droplet with a pink background, I used soft focus on this one. This is actually fun to do although only around one in ten or twenty shots even have a droplet visible and then out of those, very few have good clarity but I have managed to get some that I thought were nice. I’m a sucker for tiny reflections. / / /

  • I was experimenting with slow shutterspeed effects, and saw a friend do some work using fire. so it became something i wanted to try and just play around with and see what i could do with it. / so one cold night, im bored, i decided to try this time lapse stuff out / at the time i was still using my kodak easyshare 6490 camera back in feb of 2007. / so i set it up on my tripod in the darkest part of my house, the hallway / it took a few times of trial and error, to be lined just right with the framing, and to get the flames just right. i was going for a heart shape for valentines / i used two bic lighters to achieve this effect / just as i set the timer on the camera, as it was starting to release the shutter is when i started forming the heart shape with the flame / this was a very fun challenge, something great to try on those cold or rainy days and you feel like there isnt anything to do. this was shot in SS priority, SS was set at 5.6, time lapse was set at 6 sec, aperture was F 2.8, and focal length was at 6mm, and exposure comp at -2, no programed effects were done to this shot, this is as is right out of camera / unfortunately due to the 4mp of the camera all that is available is the card

  • featured in* The Patchwork 06-03-2009 / featured in the Fractal Perception group 1-19-09 / featured in the group Beauty ‘N Bubbles 01-12-2009* - / MUSIC Sometimes i wish i was a sailor / Way out on the stormy sea, / Far away from the city / Oh and all this misery, / And i wish that i could tell you / Just how much you mean to me, / No matter where i run to, / I’ll never lose your memory. Chorus: / Sometimes i close my eyes and drift away, / I can’t forget the things i didn’t say, / I chose a life that took me away from you, / And i will be forever blue. When you wake up in tomorrow / And i’m no longer by your side, / Just don’t think too much about me / And of the many times you’ve cried, / And wherever you may wander / May good fortune be your guide, / Go find another lover, / One who’ll never leave your side. (chorus) I chose a life that took me away from you, / And i will be forever blue.
