NIGHT REFLECTION Stars sparkle down across the sleeping city / Freeway headlights a pale pallid echo / Here and gone here and gone / The dark sky absorbs and reflects all the waves of nightness. My dimming light is made more bearable by thoughts of you / That bring luminous memories from distant worlds / Beyond our reach for now for now / I hope to find and explore them again someday together With you in the life we’ve only dreamed about / Where time and light become one / Without the plastic on/off switch / Of deadlines and fading responsibilities Where the horizon has no boundaries or limits / And sound and light have become one / Together, repeating and echoing / Hand in hand, forever.

The ice sculptures remain perfect although they will have additional snow through spring breakup in Interior Alaska in late April or early May the following year.

Taken at the Nambung National Park near the town of Cervantes, About 245 Km North of Perth. The Pinnacles desert is the main attraction of the Nambung national park. The Pinnacles are limestone formations ranging from small formations, right up to 3.5 meters tall and are a Iconic part of Western Australia. A Combination of light painting using a spotlight to illuminate the Pinnacles, and taking a series of 30 second exposures over 30 mins then stacked together using stacking software. EOS 500D. Featured in: Insomniacs and Other Night Crawlers, Painting with Light – not sun/moonlight!
