No editing was done on this photo. I took many picture of this same sky. My camera actually messed up and because of this it captured the sky with that dark tint that it has on it. Sunset in Houston Texas.

I went to Granite Island with my Girlfriend recently. As we were walking around the back of the island the sun was setting. I felt it would be wrong to leave this scene without a memory of it, and as I had my Camera already setup, there was only one thing to do! Granite Island is located on the Southern side of the South Australia coastal town of Victor Harbor. It is attached by a Causeway. There is a choice of walking or taking a horse-drawn carriage that runs regularly during the day.

Stonehenge / Captured at Dusk on Thursday evening. / Sadly, once again, I couldn’t get close to the monuments because there was a group of Pagans who’d booked a private party viewing until 10.00pm. One day I’ll find that they’ll let me in:-) Here’s hoping. I had to take this shot from beyond a fence that is too high to just photograph over, so had to hoist the camera at arms length above my head and press the button hoping for the best. To avoid the dreaded camera shake, I had to up the ISO and sacrifice some quality. But wanted to capture the way the evening sunlight was playing on the stones. Camera: Nikon D700 with 70-300mm Lense.

Yesterday was a wonderful day, crisp and frosty, and the sunset was glorious as well. I went to Lough Corrib to catch the sun going down. It was a brilliant moment that I was able to capture. / I love swans!! / And I love Irish Sunsets! No post processing other then warming the colours a bit more.
