It was an early morning start. I was meeting a friend for a sunrise shoot. The location was all planned out, so was the time – unfortunately we still missed each other. It was my fault. I went to the South end of the beach, he was at the Northern end. / / Sometimes a mistake can actually turn into luck, and this was the case here. A wonderfully still morning, beautiful light and the moon to boot….. / / I did eventually meet up with my friend after he finally answered his mobile, but wow was I glad I overshot the Northern Entrance…. Old concrete and steel lighthouse in the middle of an estuary
Ducks in the woods, Hinchingbrooke Park , Cambridgeshire, a really beautiful day , these ducks looked so happy and they seemed to all be chatting to one another..
Here is another one from my macro collection. Again, I’m my own worse critic so wasn’t too sure about this one so I’ll let you decide.
Here’s one I took today… I like it for it’s simplicity. This leaf also was placed on a mirror.
A ray of light on a gloomy day. How fortunate we were to witness this let alone capture it on film. Lake Keechelus relfecting some breaking clouds and a bit heavenly light as it streams through the clouds.
A nice walk along the quayside in Newcastle on a fresh sunny february morning….better than watching the telly..

Chrome Lights and Balls reflecting Natural Light and the Room that they are hanging in.

Something a little different from me. Took this over the lake. It’s lights reflecting in the water. I liked the colour.

The fish have been biting well on this stretch of the Nerang River and I like the way the clouds show in the reflections on the water. View of Surfers Paradise from the council chambers at Evendale.(29/11/08)
A winter`s evening on the Swan river with the reflections of the City of Perth. I had to wait awhile to shoot this image as some months before there had been a gas explosion up north and WA was on limited gas supplies and consequently all the city`s lights were getting turned off, however I think it worked in my favour, as the cooler winter weather enhanced the blues of the image.

The lake is crowned by ten notable peaks the highest is the Deltaform Monuntain (3424 m.). Moraine Lake has the most vivid turquoise imaginable, like in Peyto Lake the peacock blue is caused by fine particles of glacial silt, or till, known as rock flour. You can admire the lake by walking along the east shore, from above by clambering over the great glacial moraine dam near the lodge, or from one of the canoes for rent on the right just beyond the Lodge and car park.
This photo of a bridge was actually taken in Hell! Hell is a small village in Stjørdal, Norway with a population of 352. The name Hell stems from the Old Norse word hellir, which means “overhang”, “cliff cave”. The Norwegian word hell can also mean “luck”.

VIEW IT LARGE HERE I took a drive this afternoon, because I was bored. Chasing some light. The sky was dismal to say the least. / I drove down to the lake and it was choppy and overcast, so I drove off, that’s when I noticed the change of light in the rear view mirror. The sun had finally broke through the thick cloud from the west, so I turned around and looked toward the jetty and the light was something else, I jumped out scrambling through my camera bag because I knew it wouldnt last. / I got it, it was only seconds after I took this shot that it was back to overcast. It pays to take a second glance :) Too many techniques in photoshop to mention. / f/11 Nikon D80
Ouseburn in Newcastle, an area of regeneration, hence the name of the image. From an area of heavy industry, hence these wonderful old buildings, to an area of culture and offices. Including an urban farm and heritage center.. The small river is now behind a lock, hence the high water level.
