I don’t know why but this shot reminds me of minty gum… haha, I think it’s the color. Pine trees don’t taste like gum? :D A pine tree that resides in my backyard. Enjoy!

Last summer there was this crazy metallic green bee hanging around my garden. It was intersting because it hardly moved… I know it wasn’t dead because it walked around the flower it was on… but I went inside to get my extension tubes and a half an hour later it was still there. I don’t know what type of bug/bee it is… but I love it’s coloring! Enjoy!
There’s no place like home!! / This was taken of my front deck. We have built an all cedar wood room enclosed by large windows with a sliding door so we can close out the bugs at night. We have candles we light and a small water fountain on a coffee table in there to listed to as well. When we built it I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it and I did. I put two rockers out there for my hubby and I. I also added some of my favorite plants. We sit there and we look at the most beautiful view. We live about 1/2 a mile off of Seneca Lake. We can’t see the lake but we have a view of the other side of the lake and the hills. It is a gorgeous view and we like to sit there in awe. We recently moved to up state NY (11 Sep 01…that right on that day I was moving furniture into my new home). We love the landscapes and scenery here which is what encouraged me to take up photography. / This image is to show you where I de-stress during the summer. It is a bit chilly in the winter but we could put a heater out there to sit too and watch the snow fall. But I use it mainly to store my plants in out of the weather in the winter. :) / It’s a great place to hang your hat and your heart! / Canon EOS 350D XT / / / This image was Featured in “The Sisterhood” Group in Mar 09. Thank you all so much..what an honor. / / / / / / / /
