This was taken near Wandin East at the back of the Dandenong Ranges. I was driving around through the mist and got lost. As i was coming around a bend I looked out and saw this.

This is again, from a drive through the back roads of the Dandenong ranges in Victoria. I was just driving around and stopping to photograph things that caught me eye (I wound up lost too). This is a plot of land behind a farmhouse near Seville.

Shot this back in November, 2004, when the grass was much greener, and there was water in the dam. There’s only been water in that dam one other time since then, and it lasted around 6 weeks….this is a nice reminder of what we used to have…. Sold this a number of times pre-redbubble, mostly A3 size, and it won me a $1500 prize from the Brisbane City Council, as well the John Herbert medal at APSCON 2005, and also a number of other smaller prizes. This was sold december 2008 on redbubble as a matted print. I was sitting on top of a cliff on the Island at 4am with my Border Collie and Camera by my side, just dreaming till day break when i spotted the light over what I call the Lower Isles breaking through the early morning clouds. Everybody I was surprised by the great responding of that picture ,that’s why i came back for more explanations.It’s true that i live in a place where nature is the queen .I’m surrounding by lakes ,trees and mountains,my friend Michel is always talking about moving but i want to die here.I’ve been creating a garden for four years now,getting pretty.No neighbors in front ,in the back only on both sides and i never see them .The only bug ,no sunsets and sunrises,i have to take the car ….big thing …. / We are surrounded by a big parc that belong to the «Université de Montreal» that means no construction for many,many yearsThe place I took that pic.is two minutes from my house.The many comments I had made me realise how lucky I am to live in a place like that .THANKS TO ALL OF YOU. Dawn at Garie Beach, Royal National Park just south of Sydney, Australia. A seagull very obligingly flew into shot as I was taking this. Can you spot the silhouetted fishermen? / I’m lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen – it’s only a little national park (14,000 ha) but the variety of stuff to photograph is simply endlessly inspiring. I took this photo in Pontypool park. A great place to go for a stroll, its peaceful and pretty and this particular morning there were sunbeams where ever we looked. It was breathtaking. / / /

While normally I submit different pictures to this gallery here and my galleries on deviantArt, I do not want to keep away from you the shots that are most successfull over there. And this one attracted more than a thousand views in only 16 hours! So I do hope you will like it too. / Taken again near Laage Vuursche in a lovely little beech-tree grove. As you can see the trees are still very green, but there are clear signs that autumn is on the way. It will only take about four weeks now to colour these leaves beautifully.
