I have a great compassion for poetry, and have had so all of my life. Many truths can be found in its words for any reason or occasion. I put myself in the works that I write, though not necessarily am I speaking of myself. That is one of the beauties of poetry. You can openly express your feelings and no one can know who you are speaking of. I find myself becoming the person I am writing about to compose an authentic atmosphere.
