I wanted to experiment/play with illuminated objects, but from within the piece, so here I went.

This is a watercolor I did some time ago. I will sell the original (20×24) for 1200.00. Prints, matted and with backing board are 8×10 and 11×14 with mat. I use cresent mat board, foam backing board, heavy gauge photo paper, semi matte and print with high resolution HP vivera inks which will not fade for 100 years. I loved doing this one because in watercolor you do not use white, you only leave the white of the paper and paint the shadows only. Thanks so much for looking!

7×10 inches, watercolor and gouache, 2009. I’m not quite sure what I do to wellington boots to ruin them so quickly but I am now onto my third pair in two years. The question was what to do with the old pairs that were sitting in the porch looking very sorry for themselves. I decided to use them as plant pots and chose some trailing begonias to brighten them up.
