A seasonal calendar of the year (NSW, Australia)
Living on the Surfcoast is where I want to be. Each of the seasons has its attraction; Autumn for the colors and the quiet; Winter for the cold and peace; Spring for the wind and rain; Summer for the color and life. Enjoy it while we can.

Water and light – the foundations of life on this earth. Their interaction is a fascinating subject for the camera – at so many different magnifications… so often the camera captures what was not able to be seen by the eye alone. I continue to be fascinated by the endless possibilities of this interaction, and the totally unknown possibilities of what aspects of this, at any given moment, the camera may capture. / Here in this calendar are combined 12 of my favourite such magical moments of the foundation of life on this earth. If you prefer, I am happy to provide a personalised combination of these and any other images in my portfolio for your special requirements. Please feel free to bmail me (if you are a member of Red Bubble), or leave me a request in the comments, if you prefer.
This calendar is inspired by a song by Regina Spektor. I love it, its so true, its so… blue Its called Blue Lips He stumbled into faith and thought, / “God, this is all there is?” / The pictures in his mind arose, / And began to breathe. / And all the gods and all the worlds / Began colliding on a / Backdrop of / Blue. / Blue lips, / Blue veins He took a step, but then felt tired. / He said, “I’ll rest a little while.” / But when he tried to walk again, / He wasn’t a child. / And all the people hurried fast, / Real fast, / And no one ever smiled Blue lips, / Blue veins. / Blue, / The color of our planet from far, far away He stumbled into faith and thought, / “God, this is all there is?” / The pictures in his mind arose, / And began to breathe. / And no one saw, and no one heard. / They just followed the lead. / The pictures in his mind arose, / And began to breed They started out beneath the knowledge tree. / Then they chopped it down to make white picket fences, / And, marching along the railroad tracks, / They smile real wide for the camera lenses. / They made it past the enemy lines / Just to become enslaved in the assembly lines Blue lips, / Blue veins. / Blue, / The color of our planet from far, far away. Blue, / The most human color. / Blue, / The most human color. / Blue, / The most human color… / Blue lips, / Blue veins. / Blue, / The color of our planet from far, far away
