One reason bronze is so highly valued in statuary is that its patina protects or passivates it against further corrosion. This natural patina is solid and seldom shows a tendency to flake. Taken in the late winter/early spring of 2005 with a Canon A75 at a boardwalk in the town of Ste-Marthe-sur-le-lac, Québec, CANADA. The white expanse of snow visible beyond the trees is the frozen snow-covered Lake of Two Mountains. Everytime I was washing the dishes in front of my window I kept looking at that fantastic scene .The snow had covered all the roof and at the same time my window ,it was completely dark ,until the snow began to melt .What a sight but I had to remove the icy snow with my hand and push inch by inch the window to open enough so I could go through the small window and take some shot .You should have seen me ,all wet and very happy of my idea. / I called it «communion» because ,at first the two icesticks were just one and melted until they got separated but it looks like they are reaching to get together again.The drop is the communion between them,a« metaphore» but for me it was magical.It’s like the time is suspended…..an untouched pic… / / /

...and the dark abyss moveth… / inchoate particles, collide…becometh, / into an array of myriads of iotas.. / speckles of alphas ,betas and omegas, / conglomerations, molecules, fragments, / conceiving sensuous yet magical moments… the glorious elements…. / spectacular movements, / against odds, decadents / first, expeditious, then dilatory currents… water, the thirst alleviator…, / earth, the foundation, the litigator, / and there’s the abominable fire, / seething with passion, longing and desire…, / the anemophilous , gusty wind, / puffing, blowing, dusts of lights to attend… elements of existence, / in accord with the Great Existence, / all in a trance and in a colossal chorus.. / forming, creating, both the miniscule and the macros…. (my first experiment by collaborating with another artist) the lay-out was made in photoshop then I exported it to corel X3 to digitally “paint” it in several layers ,added in amorpainter’s images, manipulated them in photopshop….back to X3 for the finishing touches… thank you so much Dick (amorspainter), / for lending me both “symetrie” and “devotie”...as the focal figure in this compo!!! see it in silver: / seeamorspainter thanks again Dick!!!
