As the sunrises, the traditional space-age classic moghul architecture compliments the towering megatropolis skyline of the vast and beautiful Lahore Skycity. This is one of Earth’s most beautiful cities and if I had to choose personally what could be one of the best places for the new headquarters buildings I would also gladly choose Lahore Skycity. -

One of the most spectacular signs of the arrival of Spring is without a doubt the new life appearing everywhere. This image was taken in Katoomba in the Blue Mountains of NSW, Australia. The image portays a bud of the NSW Waratah (Telopea speciosissima) which is a large, long-lived shrub or tree that generally grows to about 3 m tall. It may reach 5 m in the absence of the fires – however, fires are common in its natural habitat. After a fire a waratah can regenerate from a ‘lignotuber’ – a woody swelling of its stem that lies partly or wholly under the ground.

This is the second lily that has bloomed in our garden, for spring, this year. It is mainly green and white (as not enough sun got to this lily). I have changed this to monochrome. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera with a 35-70mm lens.
