And what a beautiful state of the art facility it is. As the sunrises, the traditional space-age classic moghul architecture compliments the towering megatropolis skyline of the vast and beautiful Lahore Skycity. This is one of Earth’s most beautiful cities and if I had to choose personally what could be one of the best places for the new headquarters buildings I would also gladly choose Lahore Skycity. -
I made a new little friend for my crane in Born from the Hand. This was folded with a 6×6mm piece of paper, with tweezers and pins, resulting in a crane with wings 2.5mm long. As I hold my creation, I feel like a God; I am the creator; I’ve created a life form so sharp and vulnerable in comparison to my hand. We can only understand size, fragility and significance when we compare two things. When we think, for example, how big the world is, we’re like tiny specks of sand, or even atoms, to the eyes of a God holding the earth in his palm. It took 30 shots before getting one which was somewhat satisfying. Who’s says women are not equal may as well join the dark dOveside. These Hijabi Heroines might just surprise us by saving the planet from all out avain aniallation by putting the dOvemaster in his place. The bigger they are the harder they fall.
You can’t quit until you try / You can’t live until you die / You can’t learn to tell the truth / Until you learn to lie You can’t breathe until you choke / You gotta laugh when you’re the joke / There’s nothing like a funeral to make you feel alive Just open your eyes / Just open your eyes / And see that life is beautiful. / Will you swear on your life, / That no one will cry at my funeral I know some things that you don’t / I’ve done things that you won’t / There’s nothing like a trail of blood your way back home I was waiting for my hearse / What came next was so much worse / It took a funeral to make me feel alive Just open your eyes / Just open your eyes / And see that life is beautiful. / Will you swear on your life, / That no one will cry at my funeral – Six:A.M.

My origami calendar A sailboat folded out of a 6×10mm piece of paper rowing along the lifeline in my palm. Wow I didn’t realize my hand had all these lines :P. I didn’t turn this into a black and white this time because I managed to get a cool light on my hand to make it more waterlike. The flow of life is parrallel to a journey off the land. It begins smooth, then the waves of adulthood brings high tides which we must overcome, However at the end of the ride, everything is smooth again. Ironically the lifeline in my palm depicts this flow; it begins smooth, then there is a big split and begin to ruffle, but towards the end it comes back together again. This concept was originally generated in May 2008, but I bought a tripod later on and re-shot this on September 2, 2009 For a better idea of scale: / / / This work has been featured in: / Two Word Challenge / / / Also available at Zazzle / / / / Works by Category / / Origami / Drawings,Paintings and Graphics / Abstract Photography / Guessing Games Flowers, Trees and Plants / Water and Waterscapes / Scenery/Skyscapes / Light, Shadow, and Reflections / Still Life Living Creatures / Human Portrait Japanfluence / Canada / Europe More sample origami: / / / / / / / / / ‘Serenity’, the Firefly spacecraft (My own design) / / / / / / / / / / /

The Luxor is a hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It was one of the city’s first fully-themed megaresorts. Ground was broken for the Luxor in 1991, that same year construction began on the Treasure Island and the current MGM Grand. It has an Ancient Egyptian motif and contains a total of 4,407 rooms lining the interior walls of a hollow pyramid and contained within twin ziggurat towers that were built as later additions. The hotel is named after the city of Luxor (ancient Thebes) in Egypt, the site of the Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Luxor Temples, and scores of other pharaonic monuments but no pyramids. source: wikipedia
mixed media on canvas 20”x24” one of an ongoing series of portraits…....
mixed media work created on 03-03-03 …..newsprint…tracing paper….sheet music…etc. and acrylic paint. this piece was painted for a show….the BIG ART MAUI event. it didn’t make the show and so….. i get to enjoy her! awakening to the reality that we all are subject to be caught….hooked…pulled in by something we are not awake to OUR LESSON. we also wear hooks….to see or not to see…............ the original is still available. 3500- (resizing to 300 dpi) she was so small before she only made cards and small prints. did anyone notice? i didn’t.
mixed media on masonite box I began this artwork after I experienced my first earthquake in Maui…not knowing where I was going with it…as usual. i had made a connection with Pele when i first arrived in the Hawaiian Islands. Before I had even landed and knew anything about the legend, I was drawing her in my journal. The legend always portrayed her as dark yet I never felt her that way. As she entered the art work I felt her seduction. It was a playful one. And so she BECAME creator/destroyer….....rising to heights well deserved….since within the destruction of her wake was left a newborn island. She gave us the rock of paradise. ...rainbows, sunshine, jungle flora, mountains, turquoise waters…......ALL of the juice of LIFE. Gotta LOVE her for that!!! / /
Sunset in Negril, Jamaica. This whole trip for me was about learning how to compose my images. This one in particular I focused on the sun being framed between the palm trees. Taken with the “foliage” setting on my camera with just a little boost with color in digital editing to enhance it.
My origami calendar / / Ever since I saw mobii’s Origami Penguin Tee shirt, I’ve wanted to give it a go myself. The problem was I was too busy at the time, and I could not think of a creative scenario for it. I finally thought of one, and started folding from a 7×7mm piece of paper using tweezers, but by the time I was finished, I realized it was too tiny to create the scenario I wanted :P. I’m going to do bigger one later. I’ve decided to show this one anyways because I think it’s cute. It’s just taken in my hand hand; nothing new, but in black and white the lines in my hand looks like a snowstorm Taken with an Olympus FE-340. For a better idea of scale: / and here is the bigger one:

MUCH BETTER VIEWED LARGER Ok, its hard but someone has to live here, this is my neighbourhood, just a short trip from my front door . I opened my window just before dawn this sunday looked up the coast and saw that hint of colour, that mix of the right type of cloud, its funny after practicing landscape shots you tend to be a bit of a weather person. Got to love it when mother nature puts on her best makeup. Palm Beach is at the tip of the penisula about 40 kilometres from the Sydney CBD, by car or bus, Sydney’s northern beaches are stunning. A great place for a swim , a seafood dinner a cold beer or a glass of Chardonnay.., and yes it is used for movie and television series The headland in the distance is Barenjoey which is topped by historic Barenjoey Lighthouse Technique: HDR 5 Exposures bracketted, , processed in Photomatix and Capture NX.
