With this image I am adding to “Who Needs Love” and beginning a series of clubbing and night life shots. Kind of a mini project to profile some of the photography work I do in that area. Hope you enjoy.

A feminine release of the music inside. I wanted to capture the hard-core-ness of a woman’s musical desires. The feminine is a powerful energy, afterall!

I adore the piano I love when you see someone play and they are so full of passion that they become the music ….I had a family of piano players but was never still enough to learn …I thought when I was little that I would be one of those glam women draped over a piano singing the blues …but I sing very very badly and I am innately shy without the help of aid;) but I still love to listen to the piano all the time and My husband plays beautifully …he named this work I call these my doodles ….I paint so much almost daily that I tend to run out of room ….so to get that “art fix” I create these on paper ….

I created this for a challenge and then decided to add the song because it’s from one of my favorite musicals: “Cats”! / December 15, 2009 Memory from the musical Cats / Musical “Cats” – Memory Lyrics Daylight / See the dew on the sunflower / And a rose that is fading / Roses whither away / Like the sunflower / I yearn to turn my face to the dawn / I am waiting for the day . . . Midnight / Not a sound from the pavement / Has the moon lost her memory? / She is smiling alone / In the lamplight / The withered leaves collect at my feet / And the wind begins to moan Memory / All alone in the moonlight / I can smile at the old days / I was beautiful then / I remember the time I knew what happiness was / Let the memory live again Every streetlamp / Seems to beat a fatalistic warning / Someone mutters / And the streetlamp gutters / And soon it will be morning Daylight / I must wait for the sunrise / I must think of a new life / And I musn’t give in / When the dawn comes / Tonight will be a memory too / And a new day will begin Burnt out ends of smoky days / The stale cold smell of morning / The streetlamp dies, another night is over / Another day is dawning Touch me / It’s so easy to leave me / All alone with the memory / Of my days in the sun / If you touch me / You’ll understand what happiness is Look / A new day has begun.
