When i first came on to red bubble i was so happy to see different forms of art from all around the world. Seeing life thru the eyes of many. Better yet, i was seeing in and finding myself. / I first saw a piece of art from Liesbeth and i thought what a beautiful painting…it turned out to be encaustic art….wax..and when i looked i saw images that touched my life and brought about some much needed healing.. / Liesbeth is an inspirational artist, photographer and human… i hope you will get to know her and see a beautiful artist and find in her art a little bit of happiness and hope…and a bit of yourself. ok Liesbeth here are some questions…. Terri; / First of all i want to thank you for inviting me because you gave me a wonderfull gift with question 3… 1.What is art? / When i look at a creation and it stirrs something in my heart and soul to me it is Art. I look at creations through my heart.. don’t think that great skill is what makes something Art, it’s the intention to create from and with love and when done so the creation holds the passion.. that’s what makes it Art to me. 2.What inspires me in my life as of now to create? / Emotions do, the happiness and the sadness.. and i get them from; Nature; sunsets, clouds,walking in a forest,looking at a waterfall..music..colours,forms…poems..kids, contact with others… and i wondered why is it that they trigger me to create…and i realised all of the things mentioned is LIFE.. / Life is a creation itself and the love for it makes me want to the same. 3.Artists you grew up with from all walks of life you were inspired by. / My first thought was there were no artists in my life when i was young..and then it hit me….My dad was my first inspirer… he was a hardworking man with no time to do Art but he liked to draw for us kids and as we grew up and he had more time he started with woodcurving. His love for colour you could find in his gardning. This is the same love for life he passed it on to us. To me his woodcurving made me look at forms, which has resulted in a great admiration for Gaudi’s work. The love for drawing i see in Escher and together with Salvador Dali these 3 artists show me Fantasy. They give that what is familiar to us an extra dimension and make it for me possible to dream.. 4.If you could tell an up and coming artist..something to let them know how to live and intigrate art into their lives..what would you tell them..? / That’s an easy one… When i do workshops i tell the participants to allow themselves to be surprised.. don’t expect anything.. let the wax take you and wonder…. / So let life take you… see the wonder in it.. feel the emotions and let them take you on a yourney….let go of boundaries..in your art you can create whatever you want..be open and Spirit will guide you in letting go of the boundries… Liesbeth, thank you..great interview very insightfull… thank you too Terri

The past weeks i haven’t been commenting much on all your wonderfull creations.. / Most of you know we are building a new house, i’m glad to say it is about to be ready but this is the time where i feel i need far more hours in a day to do all that needs to be done.. i haven’t got time to create right now and even keeping up with all of your Art is something i simply haven’t got the energy for at this moment.. i hope you can all understand this.. the moments where i do have some time i decided to view the recent Art and not work back.. it takes too much of my energy that i need elsewhere. / We hope to be in our new home before Christmas but we need to work hard to make that possible and in the meantime i leave you all / these Seeds of Love ♥
