I finally got to paint this from my digital manipulation, Don’t Give Up Searching . I’m so pleased with the result. I used a few different textures and oil paint and made the eye brown rather then blue so that the image was unified in pallet to suit a college project so that I could paint this particular piece without abandoning duty.
I really like painting glas. It´s a challenge with all small reflections so importent to give it life. / Pencildrawing on paper.

Me and the family went camping over the long weekend with friends and came upon this deep woods lifesaver lol!!!!! These old outhouses make such wonderful and moody subjects that I just couldn’t pass this one up… to photograph… NOT USE! lol / / Another of these relics / / / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography
Old kettles in a kitchen, Natural light.
The name “Tierp” is from the Swedish manufacturer of the small lid. The fact that a small aircraft is flying by in this very moment is just a coincidence : ) Pencildrawing
Arachnorchis tentaculata – taken on Mount Barker Summit in the Adelaide Hills 23-10-08. I love the the shape of this orchid as it is nearing the end of it’s life & the labellum flips forward. Also love the fine little spider webs, that can just be seen…a spider orchid seems an appropriate place to find spider webs :) King Spider Orchid – Other common name – Eastern mantis orchid. Botanical Name Anachnorchis tentaculata – Old name Caladenia tentaculata and previously mis-identified as Caladenia dilatata. Suffering for my art Not long after taking this photograph, I was kneeling down to capture a back-lit subject & was so engrossed that I failed to realise that I was kneeling in a bull-ant nest! I screamed like a girl & ran back to the path, where I carefully put my camera down, then jumped up & down like a maniac frantically swatting them all off me…..

This is a compilation of two drawings. It comes from a comment of my friend that my eyes are especially good at finding butterflies everywhere. If I was courageous (or stupid, I am not sure which) I might have my eyes tattooed to look like this. Both drawings done with gold gel pen in white paged sketch book (110gsm Cartridge paper – acid free). / The gel pens work well in sketch books. I love the gold as it has the appearance of being a bit magical. I love butterflies and consider them wonderous wings and a symbol of new beginings and ongoing hope.
Clear glass jars with red lids, visible through a hole in the wall of a very old wooden building
Some storm clouds over my house July 2006. I have never seen a cloud formation like this before or after. The clouds just roll over the sky and it was really big. When it was right above my house it became very dark. The whole thing was over in about 30 minutes.
