We wanted to send man to the moon. / We did. We wanted to supply man with a / way to communicate through fiber optics. / We did that too. But what happens when the / human counterpart is so reliant on technology, / that it forgets to…be human? Numbers, dates, / appointments all stored in a portable database. / Families forget to interact with each other because / they all have a human counterpart that they can connect / with. Patience is a thing of the past because anything / they want is at their fingertips. Ideas are unoriginal / because they have all been thought of before; typed, dated, / and logged. Welcome to the Butterfly Effect. / Welcome to our world. / / / Hand painted (mouse painted..heh.) digital oil / (taken from my own eye) / Corel Paint Shop Pro/Corel Painter X/Apophysis / This is my first hand painted digital oil. / Challenge Cafe Entry / / / Special thanks to Helene Kippert Paul Tupman and Stacylee for your influences. ;) / / / Runner up in the Challenge Cafe Contest / Thanks to all who voted on it!

  • Waterworld
    by Paolo De Faveri

    US$5.13–US$136.80

I took this picture a couple of years ago at the beach of Marina di Grosseto, Tuscany, Italy. / This is a fine example I think of how a fisheye lens can completely change the feeling of an ordinary scene. The subject is simply some surf on the seashore, captured from a distance of not more than a foot. / The original picture is a Fuji Velvia 50 Iso medium format slide. Hope you enjoy it, thanks for dropping by. Paolo

  • Lens cleaning - cow style
    by Oneof42

    US$3.42–US$91.20

  • Tampa, Florida USA LARGE view; Please – Thank You (I’m Back!) After a stormy afternoon in Tampa (other home because our business is based there and sons in Uni in Tampa) I was left with an awesome play of light! It was dancing so beautifully off of the water (house is on a lake there- not ocean). I also captured some very impressive sun rays! I adore rays so Im very happy about that – exciting! From all of the images in the shoot – I found this one to be the most creative. I really like the color achieved with my lens here! The reflection is so pronounced that I just fell in love with this shot! also – the capture of the bugs – rimpled the water and I was like YES! It all just came together very much to my liking! I LOVE abstracts SO much! This is a bit off-beat for an abstract but I just loved the colors and play of light in the clouds! I hope you – too – find it to be an awesome and enjoyable image! / ______ / All The Materials Contained May Not Be Reproduced, Copied, Edited, Published, Transmitted Or Uploaded In Any Way Without My Permission. • purple crocus
    by Christopher Ewing

    US$4.70–US$125.40

these small crocus are blooming right now in my yard, i shot this macro laying on ground to give an idea of just how tall they really are, im lucky enough to have four different colors growing in the same area :) / i shot this using a Nikon Diopter lens attached to a Canon 75-300mm lens

  • A rather simplistic experiment in Photoshop, but I really like this one. / / Inspired by the end of Tim Burton’s ‘Corpse Bride’ film.

  • for some reason..this shot of the crocus that were growing in my yard last week, is one of my personal favs, something about it is so promising that this year we might just have a good spring / i shot this macro laying on ground (again) using a nikon diopter lens attached to a canon 75-300mm lens

  • Cheeky Cow
    by baddoggy

    US$3.42–US$91.20

Find me a cheekier beef horse than this, and I’ll gladly give you my favourite teapot. Detail, colour, taste and pure cheek – this cheeky cow’s got the lot. To quote what she said to me just after I took the picture: “Moo”. And you can’t argue with that. Proud of your kitchen? Imagine this beauty on your wall. As a picture, I mean. Not the actual cow. Crops and resizes by request.
