Lemon splash into water – another cliche shot that like water-drop shots is something that should be tried. A rainy sunday today finally made me try this using a couple of flashes and a glass flower vase (as my tank). I did a bunch of others – but the cliched lemon had to be the first! Nikon D80 / Nikon 105 AF-S VR lens / f/11; 1/180sec; ISO400 / SB600 & SB800 fired wirelessly in manual mode using Cactus wireless triggers. / SB600 aimed at the background / SB800 home-made snooted and aimed down into the vase

Limoncello Fairy / I couldn’t resist doing this after Empress suggested Limoncello, lemon sorbet and filling the glass the champagne…we agreed a flute would be better but with a curved glass you have so much more fun licking the cascading froth.
