I have been having fun with film lately.
I hope the quality is ok – only just getting used to scanning film – last image was not big enough :)

After the James Blunt concert at Sydney Entertainment Quarter at mid-night, my friends decided to go and see the balloons in Canberra in the early morning. I drove to canberra in 4 hours and wow, so peaceful and energetic and the same time. Commonwealth Place, Canberra, Australia / 2006-04-15 4:52 AM – Yes the time is the key! Last day of our holiday on Pittwater, north of Sydney / Taken with Leica MP, 35mm lens,Velvia 400 film
I haven’t put anything up for a while as I have been messing around with film and Polaroids and just didn’t find the time to scan. However, the rain is so bad here today I got around to scanning some film. I have also been reading a fascinating book on the American snapshot and have been experiementing with my family on the good old ‘snapshot’ of their lives. This is Fleur wearing her swimming goggles to the play park.
This is the beach at a squatters town, Broke Inlet, at the end of a 4-wheel drive track, on the south coast of Western Australia, near Walpole. It is a fabulous place to explore, especially as – if they pull down the shacks – there may only be this view and a few pieces of driftwood left. / Taken with Leica MP, 24mm lens, Velvia 100 film

The Hermes ‘fashion house’ building in Ginza. An impressive set of glass bricks, however I did wonder how safe it might be in the event of an earth quake. Whilst in Ginza, we went to the Leica Gallery. They have a wonderful collection of old and new cameras and small photography gallery. The current display is by Julio Bittencourt from Brazil, who has taken pictures of homeless people living in a dilapidated abandoned building in Sao Paolo. Simply brilliant photography. ==========
