  • This old iron is discarded on the shelf here but is more proof that this was most likely the home ec tuition area. A lot of asylums had one of these and an art room. The art room was to help the patient express themselves and give them a release, the home ec tuition was to prepare them to look after themselves for if they were to be release back into general society.

  • Remains of an early settlers homestead in north central Victoria Australia. This old homestead dates back to the late 1800’s, and now it is slowly being reclaimed by nature. The only inhabitants now are field mice, birds and snakes. What stories of good and bad times could be told by these walls. / Image taken with an Olympus E520 DSLR Camera / /

  • I used the magnificent interior of MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) for the background of this shot. It’s an architectural paradise…wonderful nooks and crannies…marble and granite. The heart is one of many original pieces scattered throughout Union Square which I shot and superimposed. FEATURED in San Francisco~ thanks to the hosts! Inspired by the famous Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett song.   • When I looked out site , I saw our chook with her head into the paper bag. In that bag I normally keep the food for the Gallah’s. I had forgotten to put it back into the tin and she got to it very quickly. Poking her head into it too get to the seeds. / I thought I do something different with this image. / Image was taken from my living room window.
