  • This Is Mitch with his shirt off. heehee He is my creation, no model or photograph, I had a ref. model to get the body right but only for the main structure. Mitch is was born in Venice Italy. Is mother is Italian His father… well your just going to have to wait till I get his first chapter posted His family moved to the states , NYC, when he was 6. After his father died his mother (never very caring in the first place) took off and he was left alone to bury his father at the age of 9. The only thing of value he had was a black Journel and Mitch so finds out he is much more than just human. Needless to say it left quite a stain on him. He spent his time growing up on the streets where he met an old Blues player who taught him to play a guitar and sing the blues. That’s how he got money, singing on the streets and in joints, with his deep soulful voice and good looks getting a gig was easy. But it wasn’t enough, not for the life he wanted. / Soooooo being Italian… It was easy for him to find “other” work. He had learned to knife fight on the streets and became quite good. Then he hooks up with a small time drug lord and so it begins his true life of crime, soon Mitch becomes the right arm man for one of the biggest Mobsters in NYC…... Later , at the hight of his success, just 18 Mitch unknowingly kills the Godfather’s nephew in a jealous rage, now he’s their target. That’s the first book into, the second goes more into his roots and an near death life changing event ans his father speaks to him from beyond. He meets his grandfather in life shortly after… he’s the only man Mitch ever truely feared. WHY? welll…. can’t tell it all!

  • We feel very strongly about animal rights and the issue of fur and leather is no exception! Humans should wear their own skin – not the skins of animals. According to the HSUS website: / / “Each year over 50 million animals—including millions of dogs and cats—are killed for their fur worldwide. Although the fur industry does its best to keep the cruelty out of sight, suffering is a common ingredient in all methods of procuring fur, from fur factory farming to trapping. Many, perhaps more than half, of these animals are killed specifically for fur trim—it is not a by-product.” / / And it doesn’t end there. Check out the HSUS Fur-Free Campaign to find out how the fur industry is going out of its way to dupe you through false advertising, false labels and more. / / ALL proceeds will be donated to the Humane Society of the United States. / / Do you have a fur coat, hat or other fur items? Give them back! Donate your furs to Coats for Cubs! These donated furs help young wildlife in need, serving to help keep them warm and sometimes serving as surrogate mothers. It’s an amazing program! Please be sure to check it out!

  • Belted - Self Portrait
    by Jaeda DeWalt

    US$3.99–US$106.40

/ —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / Belted is a self-portrait taken from photographic artist Jaeda DeWalt’s series of the same name and is a part of the DeWalt Gallery collection. / -—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / Available for sale as Laminated Prints, Cards, Matted Prints, Posters, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints / / -—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / about this series The Belted series came about when my stability ball burst. I use it to do my stomach crunches and sit-ups. I remembered the movie, “The Professional” and decided to belt myself to the edge of my bed to do my sit-ups, the way Leon did in the movie, until my new stability ball arrived. I ended up hooking a bunch of belts together and thought to myself “Hey, that would make an awesome photo prop!” and the Belted series was conceived. The title image of this series came about as a result of receiving a belt burn on my neck, from pulling the belts so tight and straining to pose, just so. So i decided to resolve this, by covering the burn on my neck, with my hand – as gracefully as possible. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— / visit the rest of this series . . . / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / browse Jaeda’s photographic art by category: / dreamscapes, artistic nudes, couples, glamour, erotica, conceptual, sensual, portrait, spiritual, survivor art / -—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— /

  • I found this remarkable sight within half an hour of my arrival at Wilsons Promontory from Melbourne on a hot summers day at the Southern end of this popular beach. It never ceases to amaze me how nature can place such amazing elements together. This spot must be passed by thousands of people every year but I dare say that few have ever stopped at this particular spot to soak up the vista . For me this illustrates one of the things I really love about being a nature photographer. The mindset required to see the extraordinary within the common place, quite literally changes the way you interact with your surroundings. It requires you to really be in tune with a place and in a more tangible way, to become a part of the landscape, rather than a mere passer by. For more shots from this area check out my Wilsons Promontory gallery. To read a story about the trip on which I took this shot see my Tour de Prom article. 10% of all profits go to the Wilderness Society
